BAPTISM

The church is the 'body of Christ'. By baptism, St. Paul says each of us is grafted into Christ, and becomes an indispensable part of His 'body'. The church then, is not primarily an institution, but a living, organic entity. All members contribute to the health and vitality of the whole body.
