Canon Arthur Lawson's humorous and yet deeply spiritual sermons about his very own "grinch" have been collected in a small book entitled The Pickle in My Soul. It's a great read, and something that can prompt our thinking about the tough issues in our faith. Copies (now in rather short supply) are available for sale in the library at St. Peter's. You can pick up a copy and leave the $20 in the office.

Calvary Baptist Church invites men and women to the ecumenical World Day of Prayer service at 7pm on Friday, March 5th. They encourage participation by all local churches and St. Peter's still requires three people to each read a short passage. The message for this year is from the Cameroons. If anyone has any "African" exhibits, would they be willing to 'show' them on March 5th.
There’s an enjoyable way of helping pay down our mortgage while, at the same time, helping to promote St. Peter’s. This is possible through the DVD entitled: ‘Upon this Rock.’ The 30-minute DVD traces the development of St. Peter’s buildings over nearly 200 years. All proceeds from the sale of the DVD go towards paying down the mortgage. The DVDs are offered at alternative prices; a donor price of $30.00 for which a $20.00 tax receipt is issued, and at $15.00 per copy. Many former members of St. Peter’s will appreciate receiving the DVD as a memento.
The CDs are available at the church office.
There are DVDs from the “The Best Christmas Present Ever” available, for those who have placed orders, after the 10:30 am service on Sunday or in the Church office. If you wish to order a DVD, they are $15. and orders can be taken by the Office staff.
You may be able to assist the project teams to carry out their very vital work in Mzuzu without making financial contributions. Your points may be transferred to: Mr. Colin Turnpenney , Aeroplan # 778 808 949. If you’re able to help, please contact Heather Godfrey at (905) 372 5727. Thanks.
Both the Tuesday 7:30 and Thursday 10:00 a.m. Eucharists are times of quiet worship. The Tuesday service is followed by a light breakfast and the Thursday service by coffee and goodies; once a month birthdays are remembered. Both provide a time of real fellowship. On Wednesday at noon a Contemporary Eucharist takes place in the Chapel. You are invited to become a part of one of these meaningful services.
