Please set aside some time to help with cleaning of the brass and silver in preparation for the October 3rd Harvest Festival. That is scheduled for Tuesday, September 28th at 9:30 am. Then on Friday, October 1st the Church will be decorated for the Harvest festival. Members of the congregation are most welcome to come and help. Also, DONATIONS OF FRUITS AND VEGETABLES would be most welcome. Please have your offering at the Church by 9:30 am on October 1st.
“God Yearning to Hear” – October 22nd and 23rd, taking place at St. John’s Anglican Church, York Mills. Come to the 2010 Prayer Conference and enjoy three inspiring theme talks by the Rev. Mike Flynn. This conference is designed to give you a new awareness of God’s Love for YOU. Along with uplifting music provided by Trinity, Streetsville, you will have the opportunity to attend two of fourteen workshops. Application forms are available in the Church office. On Friday, September 17th, St. Peter’s Health and Healing Ministry and the Inter Church Health Ministries of Canada will co-host a benefit concert right here at 8:00 pm at St. Peter’s. Featured performers will be Tom Doherty (tenor), Mark Ruhnke (baritone) and Rod McAvoy (organ), plus friends. THIS IS A CONCERT NOT TO BE MISSED! Tickets, available in the Church office, are $20.00 or $60.00 for a family of four or more.
On Saturday, October 2nd Rob Mikel, a Cobourg historian, will conduct a cemetery walk. More details of this event will be available closer to the time.
It is that time again when we ask you to save your one-of-a-kind quality items such as sets of china, crystal, jewellery, leather, hats, vases, gloves, serving pieces, silver and any other treasures.
