Adult Handbells

This group of about 8 – 10 people meets weekly to practice music of varying styles and difficulty levels, and performs in worship about once each month. During our rehearsals we laugh and joke a great deal while still getting a good deal of work done. Ringing handbells is a great way to learn how to read music, since each person is only responsible for two or three bells, and members of the group are very patient and helpful with newcomers. It is also the best way to acquire a sense of performing in a group, or ensemble as this is formally called. Adult Handbells meets every Monday from 5:30 until 6:45pm. Interested people can contact the Music Director through the Church Office (905-372-3442) or come to the church a few minutes early to meet the group. You are also welcome to sit and observe a rehearsal to see what it’s like first, but we warn you: when you see how much fun we have, you will want to return to participate!
