Getting news about St. Peter’s
St. Peter’s attaches great importance to keeping its members, and the community, up-to-date on matters relating to the church. It has a very active Communications Network Committee that helps to achieve this.
There are several means of communications used in addition to this web site.
-
The weekly church bulletin distributed at services always lists upcoming events and activities. It can also be picked up at the church during the week.
-
On about a weekly or as needed basis an electronic newsletter called KeyMail is distributed to members which they may print and pass on copies to friends and neighbours who do not have e-mail.
-
The parish magazine Keynotes (usually 32 pages) is published five times each year. Issues appear: Sunday before Lent, Palm Sunday, mid June, mid-September, and Advent Sunday)
-
Roughly mid-way between issues of Keynotes, an electronic newsletter called Cross Keys is published to carry longer news items than those contained in the e-mail newsletter.
-
A parish photo directory, published early in 2007 contains a complete listing of the addresses and telephone numbers of St. Peter’s members plus photos of many of them as well as illustrations of many church activities. Copies of this directory can be purchased from the church office.
