When Fr. Matt arrived in December of 2022, his first priority as our new priest was to help complete the restoration of our historic church, and then re-open & re-launch our ministry here at St. Peter’s. All of this has gone off with resounding success.

As we focused on that important work, we set aside plans for our bishop to visit and formally install Fr. Matt as our Rector and Head Pastor.

Now that we have concluded our work with the Board of Management and have plans to retire the main restoration debt, we at long last welcomed Bishop Riscylla on April 11, 2026 to celebrate Fr. Matt’s formal installation as our Rector and Incumbent of St. Peter’s.

For this special service we were delighted to welcome back as our guest preacher, the Rev. Canon Claire Wade.
