“Cannabis:  Just what the heck is it?”

Our presentation will be by retired family physician Dr. Tom Bell on the effects of cannabis on developing brains.
Dr. Tom Bell spent 42 years as a family doctor and is a retired Adjunct Professor of Family Medicine, Queens University. His work with CMHA and the Cannabis and Youth Clinical Information Team led him to write a book for parents and caregivers entitled “Cannabis and Kids: A Primer on Pot for Parents and Caregivers“, particularly in light of the legalization of marijuana.
“Cannabis and Kids” is about the long-lasting, and in some cases, permanent, effects of cannabis on developing brains.
