Throughout the Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons, St. Peter’s regularly has two worship services on most Sundays:
  • A traditional Communion Service drawn from the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) at 08:30 AM, held in the Chapel.
  • A contemporary Family Worship Service with choral music drawn from the Book of Alternative Services (BAS) at 10:30 AM, held in the Church.
During the months of July and August, and on adjunct Sundays at the end of June and the beginning of September, these two services are combined into a single service, held in the Church, at 09:30 AM.
This adjusted time accommodates parking for parishioners during the busy summer months, and also helps to “beat the heat” by being held early in the day.  This earlier time also allows parishioners to start the rest of their day at a time earlier than during the non-summer months.
On the first Sunday of July, August, and September, the service at 09:30 AM will follow the traditional Communion Service drawn from the Book of Common Prayer (BCP).  The specific Sundays when the traditional BCP service will be held are July 05, August 02, and September 06, 2026.
On all other Sundays from June 21 to August 30, 2026, inclusive, the service at 09:30 AM will follow the contemporary Family Worship Service drawn from the Book of Alternative Services (BAS).
PLEASE NOTE:
The regular BCP service on Thursday mornings at 10AM will continue uninterrupted throughout the summer.
