Sharyl Ann Milligan was inducted into the Cobourg and District Sports Hall of Fame on June 19, 2026.Sharyl Ann has dedicated more than 50 years to lawn bowling as a national team player, official, coach, and administrator at every level of the sport. A Provincial Ladies’ Champion (1990) and North American Challenge winner (1993), she also served as a Technical Official at multiple Commonwealth Games and spent eight years on the World Bowls Law Committee.After retiring from her career working with youth, she revived the Cobourg Lawn Bowling Youth Club, introducing the sport in local schools and mentoring young athletes — some of whom have gone on to medal internationally.
