Break-In and Vandalism at St. George’s, Gores Landing

 

The parish of St. Peter’s sends our love and prayers to the people of St. George’s in the wake of their recent break-in and vandalism that occurred last week. Please keep the parish in your prayers.

UPDATE:

A work party is being organized to clean up the mess left by the vandalism. If you would like to volunteer to help with this cleanup, please come to St. George’s at 08:45 AM on Saturday, November 11, 2023. The work will pause at 11:00 AM to observe a minute of silence for Remembrance Day, then resume thereafter.
 
If you wish to leave St. George’s to attend a ceremony at a local cenotaph, please feel free to do so, and your return to St. George’s afterwards to resume the cleanup work would be most welcomed.
